The mission of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) is to turn ideas into action. And E5 Events assisted in doing just that. CGI America teamed with E5 Evnets to bring together leaders in business, philanthropy, government, and nonprofits to develop solutions that encourage continued economic growth, support long-term competitiveness, and increase social mobility in the United States. Since the first meeting in 2011, CGI America participants have made more than 600 Commitments to Action, which have improved the lives of more than 4.9 million people. CGI chose Denver as the destination for two years (2014-2015) and used E5 for both events.
The unique part of the 2014 event is that CGI chose Denver’s Union Station as the location, however Union Station was still under full construction! E5 Events worked on permitting with the City to make this event happen. On event date, we shut down construction, hung the famous chandeliers and had a successful event. Construction resumed that evening following the event.
